Position- Platform/ Application ArchitectLocation- San Francisco, CA/ Hudson Yards, New YorkDuration- Full Time Job Description:Incredible teams doing exceptional work, every day In Technology, we support First Republic's employees and clients through the acquisition, integration and management of the Bank's information systems and services.We drive innovation and explore emerging technologies so our people can be productive and focus on what matters most providing extraordinary service to our customers.Under the general direction of the Head of Digital Technologies, the Platform Architect will have a leading role in the design and implementation of cross-cutting online banking and digital marketing capabilities for First Republic Bank.This unique role will employ cutting edge technologies and industry best practices in support of the modernization of First Republic's digital platform. What you'll do as a Platform Architect:Implement and maintain platform capabilities required to efficiently build, deploy and maintain digital banking and marketing solutions hosted by First Republic Bank and its technology partners.Work within agile teams to ensure the proper use of platform technology, standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Collaborate with other departments (Infosec, Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Engineering) to deliver optimal digital platform capabilities that are aligned with Bank standards and overall technical direction. Participate in Tier 2 application support to speed resolution of incidents, assist with root cause analysis and incorporate platform improvements in support of problem resolution.You could be a great fit if you have: Advanced DevOps experience implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins.Experience designing and implementing containerized Microservices for the Kubernetes platform.Experience designing and implementing advanced Web Front-End architectures for modular user interface development using JavaScript frameworks (ex. VueJS, Angular, React).Experience designing and implementing API's for system and data integration use cases.Application performance management experience leveraging auto-scaling, monitoring and high availability design patterns.Advanced application security experience leveraging OAuth 2.0 standards for Single-Sign on and API security.Experience designing and implementing AWS solutions leveraging services such as SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, Managed Kafka and Kinesis. Experience designing and implementing mobile application functionality for IOS and Android.
