OpportunityThis company is currently seeking a Platform Support Engineer to join their Platform Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting their CLO and Loans trading system, as well as other internal applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a rapidly growing company and play a key role in maintaining and supporting mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support the CLO and Loans trading system and other internal applications
  • Ensure high levels of availability for the production, demonstration and test systems
  • Play a key role in resolving any problems in the system in a timely and professional manner
  • Proactively learn and understand the company's business needs, and develop or implement solutions to meet those needs
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

Key Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with combined experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in application support, with at least 3+ years in maintaining and supporting financial or other applications
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Skills and experience in any or all of the following will give the right candidate an edge: Linux command line, shell scripting, Java, Python, SQL, Nagios, Splunk, and ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
