Plumbing Mechanic / Journeyman – Now Hiring

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumbing Mechanic / Journeyman to join our team. This is a great opportunity for experienced professionals looking to take the next step in their plumbing careers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and be well-versed in plumbing codes and blueprint reading for both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

- Perform plumbing installations for new construction and tenant buildout projects.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems.

- Assemble and install pipes, fixtures, and water and drainage systems using PVC, copper, PEX, cast iron, and other materials.

- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.

- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.

- Coordinate with other trades and project managers to meet timelines and project specifications.

- Uphold OSHA safety standards and company policies on all job sites.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumbing mechanic or journeyman.

- Licensing: Valid driver’s license required.

- Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.

- Skills:

- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills

- Physical Demands: Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work on scissor lifts, and work in all weather conditions.
