Pottery Studio Technician

Pottery Studio is seeking an employee to work weekends as a studio technician.

Primary duties include but not limited to helping customers via in person conversations, email, phone. Cleaning. Lots of cleaning. Helping "flip" the studio between classes by washing tools, equipment and preparing clay and moving works from previous students.

Organizing and finishing and firing work of past students including glazing work and firing kilns. Recycling and conditioning clay.

The weekend shift is 11am-7pm and we will need you every weekend, please apply only if you can work weekends. Please be customer service driven, able to comfortably talk to and help people as well as diffuse situations when the customer is upset.

A background or interest in the ceramic arts is highly recommended.

Pay is $21 an hour for two eight hour shifts per week.
