Overview Provides program governance plans and technology direction for the Compliance, Legal, HR Technology team within Corporate Technology. Contributes to the development of an overall delivery plan and development roadmap that will support the growth planned across the technology organization. Designs, performs and oversees a wide range of larger scale strategic projects, directing and formulating recommendations and obtaining stakeholder buy-in. Provides solutions to complex business problems for areas of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve project objectives. Guides and consults with teams during technical planning process. Creates and communicates business case for emerging technologies. Identifies important technology areas for development. Remains aware of contemporary concepts in IT strategy and management. Defines analytical frameworks for visioning and assessing strategic options. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives. This is a newly formed position that will:
- Lead the continued agile transformation across the technology team
- Establish a new program governance function to provide delivery oversight of regulatory commitments while maintaining an agile development model
- Promote a data-driven and analytical approach to process improvements
- Work closely with Application Development Managers on strategic staffing and talent management plans
- Experience in a PMO, CAO/COO role or similar program governance and operational experience
- Track record of successful delivery using agile techniques including Scrum and/or Kanban. SAFe or other scaled agile experience is a plus
- Experience in Lean process management desirable
- Expertise in project management and collaboration tools. Jira, PPM, Teams, Blueprint are all desirable
- Financial industry experience related to regulatory compliance delivery strongly preferred.
