Eligibility may vary.Position descriptionProvides leadership, insight, and tools to develop, manage, and monitor digital strategy to support broader Mayo Clinic strategic objectives; digital strategy deliverables may include scenario planning, strategy assessments, strategic plans and objectives, opportunity assessments, business model development, strategic measurement development, capability modeling and assessment, input to product or technology strategy, influence plans, strategic communications, input to ROI modeling, input to business plans, and more. Additional responsibilities include:Position CDH for sustainable advantage and to exceed consumer expectations by leading creation of work products to advance Mayo Clinic digital strategy:

Contribute to CDH strategic posture and competitive position in response to drivers and issues.

Drive meaningful research and conversations to ensure a data-driven, collaborative approach.

Drive use of optimal frameworks and digital strategy tools to identify strategic choices that support efforts to determine priorities, investments, and definition of success.

Develop, launch, and monitor initiatives to advance digital strategy in support of institutional goals.

Propose solutions to fill gaps in understanding or other digital strategy-related business capabilities.

Drive or contribute to partner or vendor engagements as needed.

Lead development of inspiring, easy-to-understand artifacts that effectively communicate strategic plans and action tailored for specific audiences, from executives to front-line staff:

Lead effort to synthesize across various digital strategy initiatives external market and internal insights to develop compelling digital strategy work products that communicate the meaning of drivers, trends, uncertainties, and choices impacting our future.

Support creation of digital strategy storytelling and engagement artifacts.

Drive ongoing digital strategy management:Create and maximize collaborative agile frameworks and processes to develop, measure, refresh, and apply digital strategy in ways that engage and empower CDH teams for strategic execution.

Contribute to efforts to demonstrate strategic value of the CDH digital portfolio.

Drive ongoing strategy refinement and alignment with stakeholders and partner teams. Partner closely with Digital Product Strategists, Platform strategists, Department of Strategy, and other influencers to ensure aligned initiatives as well as awareness of emergent digital strategy and issues across and beyond the CDH organization.

Enable digital teams to execute in a manner aligned to digital strategy; bridge strategy and execution by maximizing strategy components and ways of thinking within the CDH agile business operating model.

Grow digital strategy capabilities for CDH; seek continuous value delivery and improvement; provide coaching to advance the CDH strategy team. Partner with Department of Strategy on shared approaches and common tools.This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.QualificationsBachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with digital strategy, digital product strategy, experience strategy, healthcare administration, business administration, strategic development experience, or related field; or Master's degree and 5+ years of related experience in the preceding or related fields.Experience must include several of the following areas of expertise: digital product strategy and/or management, strategic planning, business plan development, consulting, customer experience or experience design, project management, stakeholder engagement, process change management, scorecard and dashboard development, financial analysis, new service/product planning and development, market research, and data management, analysis, and statistics. Management experience and experience with value-driven digital product management is preferred; experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries is a plus.Additional qualificationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and capture the essence of complex information in order to discern meaning, trends, and the big picture quickly. Experience in consulting or advisory functions; demonstrated success in analyzing situations and using various methodologies to develop high-value strategies and plans methodically. Working knowledge of Design Thinking, experience design, and digital analytics as inputs to digital strategy processes and artifacts; able to bridge digital disciplines to develop novel strategy solutions that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. Experience in successfully managing stakeholders in complex, matrixed, and strategic initiatives. Demonstrated success in effective decision-making that drives progress toward ambitious goals while managing complexity, ambiguity, risk, and uncertainty. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and collaborate across disciplines, including business strategy, experience design, analytics, and technology. Expert story-telling skills. Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills. Strong interpersonal and active listening skills; ability to quickly establish high-trust relationships and facilitate group/team activities. Professional approach that reflects Mayo Clinic values.
