We are looking for an outstanding Principal - Quality Engineering with responsibilities in both NPI and Quality.

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS::: Green Belt / Black Belt:: Electronics experienced:: ASQ QE certification:: Masters in Statistics or equivalent quality skills training thru industry experience:: Proficient in Minitab and Excel:: Experience with APQP/PPAP:: Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100D

Duties and Responsibilities== Drive AQE (Advanced Quality Engineering) activities in support of the company's Product Development Process for Class A projects== Work closely with NPLM (New Product Launch Manager) to guide the NPI team through the required Quality steps and deliverables needed at each phase of the process, from Prototype to Production== Lead cross-functional meetings and data analysis associated with these activities, including PFMEA and mistake-proofing development and implementation, product/process Cpk assessment, test capability (TCI) assessment and product test yield improvement== Review product history and lessons learned from design validation sources, current production quality, and warranty data to identify and drive preventative measures to assure quality of each product as it is introduced== Develops quality control and assurance methods to help satisfy project KPIs. == Establishes the Target Yield metrics based on existing/like or new product guidelines. == Ensures that major changes in pilot and production designs are validated before introduction using the Change Control Board process. == Analyzes yield and parametric results to identify top contributors to defects and works with the Engineering, ME, TE, SQA and Operations personnel to continuously improve processes, drive improvements in using quality metrics, and reduce product cost. == Performs process capability studies including Test Capability and Design/Process Capability.== Continuously improve the NPI process through enhancement of process and procedures.== Consistent with the e3 approach, lead major continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts to improve Quality and reduce waste and cost of current product processes; helps identify mistake-proofing methods that can be applied across Focus Factories and products== Define and implement standard work for managing/improving the Quality of manufactured products, ensuring compliance to our company and ISO requirements== Collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for improvement actions== Champion for planning and execution of effective verification/validation of changes (product, process, test)== Team facilitator for using best practice RCCA tools; ensure verification of effectiveness of CA's is planned and completed== Assist with on-boarding training of new quality engineers and technicians== Assist AQE's and FF QE's with any quality tasks/projects as-needed to help achieve AOP objectives== Lead investigation of complex process/product issues as needed across JROC== Provide Lean Six Sigma and Basic Statistical coaching/training to quality resources and resources from other support functions== Coach (as requested) L3H resources working thru Green Belt Training/Projects== Serve as a lead trainer for 8D Advanced RCCA and ensure scheduling/execution of future sessions
