LOCATION:Midtown Manhattan

SALARY: Unpaid - future potential employment if internship successful

EXTRA SALARY opportunity: Print salesman percentage can be discussed starting asap.

Preferred staples or FedEx print experience(but not required)

Position: Print Shop Intern (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Full-Time: 10 AM – 6 PM

Part-Time: 9 AM – 2 PM or 1 PM – 6 PM

Duration: 4 to 8 Weeks (Potential for Paid Position afterwards)

ABOUT US:

We are a newly re-opened small print shop in Midtown Manhattan offering a range of printing services FOR NOW - including digital and large-format printing, booklet binding, apparel heat pressing, car wraps, signage, and more.

As we grow, we're looking for a motivated intern to assist with printing, marketing, and sales.

As time goes by we will add more and more services and products.

WHAT WE MAKE:

Cards, flyers, shirts, booklets, posters, banners

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

This is a PRINTING hands-on role where you'll gain experience in print production, customer service, and business operations. You’ll have the opportunity to learn industry skills and potentially move into a paid role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- assist walk in and phone customers

- Print on xerox press and Roland wide format printer

- Cutting cards and posters

- Binding projects.

- Help with heat press applications on apparel.

- Work on signage and awning related clients.

- Use Adobe software for design.

- Manage and track customer orders.

- Assist with mailbox rentals and general tasks.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

- Provide customer support

- Help with marketing the shop digitally

- Web Design and work on our website edits

- Sales efforts and client engagement.

- Start and develop our Etsy store

WHO SHOULD APPLY:

Quick learners who are comfortable with technology

Basic Adobe software knowledge is a plus

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working independently.

Interested in graphic design, print production, print marketing, sales, and business growth.
