Hiring for a client which seeks to build upon a foundation of niche strategies that aim to achieve low correlation to traditional and alternative asset classes with attractive and persistent risk-adjusted returns across different market cycles. They allocate capital dynamically across strategies based on the potential risk and reward, and the opportunity set for each individual investment team.

Responsibilities:
  • The project requires an experienced engineer who can help our client with migration of existing CRON based jobs to Redwood Process Automation/JScape Managed File Transfer toolset.
  • Motivated learn new technologies to advance and automate environments.
  • Project Management oriented, with a problem-solving mindset, strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.
  • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Handle software deployments in all environments (Dev, UAT, and Production).
  • Monitoring production application environments to ensure efficient system operation.
  • Constantly evaluating daily procedures to build automation tools and scripts to optimize the management of multiple environments.
  • Participate in managing the change control process, implementation and fallback planning, business continuity planning and supporting periodic User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participating in real time incident identification and remediation and executing alternative procedures to maintain the health of the system.
  • Working in operations of a real-time systems environment.

Mandatory Skills Description:
  • Engineer with experience in scheduling jobs and troubleshooting any issues within Redwood and/or Autosys.
  • Experience with workload automation- setting up new jobs, job handling, maintenance activities.
  • Testing New Jobs/Systems.
  • Daily Production Support / User requests.
  • Serena Version Manager Administration, new project setup, promotions, User Support, TeamTrack Administration.
  • IXP Tool access provisioning.
  • FTP/SFTP- creating file transfers to the internal servers and external vendor SFTP site, encryption /Decryption using PKZIP and PGP.
  • Remote Ware Administration, Store Polling, Pilots, New File Handling, User/Apps Support.
  • Handle client audits and meet audit requirements.
  • Change Management Process.
  • Create and manage process documents.
  • Experience in working with Unix and Windows OS .
  • Hands on experience in bash, c and C scripting.
