you will be responsible for increasing value to the business through new product launches along with enhancements and support of existing products through the company’s various distribution capabilities including the firm’s Connect Platform, an innovative, robust and comprehensive platform

serving the workflow needs of

credit and macro professionals globally. Collaboratively working with other product owners across the Product Management team, you will be executing on the overall tribe vision set out by the Tribe Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the business to

    identify, specify, and prioritize features and capabilities

    through direct input from clients, market intelligence, ratings analysts, developers and your knowledge of the domain.
  • Define and clearly communicate a prioritized execution roadmap that articulates the objectives and key results and measurable improvements to support the key business goals.
  • Collaborate with the content organization to support the needs of the Financial Institutions product, delivering value to clients
  • Own the backlog, prioritization, and roadmap as a Scrum Product Owner and lead the technology teams through scrum ceremonies.
  • Leverage usage analytics and other data to drive prioritization and other product decisions.
  • Create high level Epic requirements and decompose these into smaller packages of work as user stories for implementation within the Agile team.
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master and other members of the Agile team to deliver key milestones, including managing and prioritizing the sprint backlog to ensure the work items delivered align to sprint goals.
  • Lead and inspire, through influence, the Agile team to instill a customer centric mindset, with an eye towards innovation as well as reducing technical debt
  • Effectively communicate the health of the product portfolio to key stakeholders including head of business, Product Strategist, Tribe Lead, Sales Management, and Service through Quarterly Business Reviews, stakeholder alignment meetings, and other working sessions.
  • Provide superior service to our clients via product documentation, product training, and customer support activities.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with Chapter Leads, as well as Product Owners and Scrum Masters across other organization to ensure successful outcomes for overlapping resource dependencies
  • Be the product champion externally and a passionate voice of the customer experience internally.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in product management or software engineering required.
  • Relevant industry and functional experience with a focus on credit data and research services.
  • Familiarity with sell-side banks and buy-side funds and asset managers
  • Demonstrates passionate and flexible work ethic
  • Passion for

    data-driven and metrics driven decisions
  • Approaches problems pragmatically with a focus on delivering high-quality products
  • Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working with or in Agile teams
  • Strong Communication skills with experience in managing business stakeholders as well as technical audiences. Able to write clear and concise documentation, user stories, and excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to achieve successful results in a matrixed organization
  • Strong team-work, co-ordination, organization and planning skills
  • Function independently and as part of a team under aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment, convey a strong professional image, exhibit interest and positive attitude toward all assigned work, and strive for continued improvement.
  • Impressive presentation skills and experience communicating and convincing audiences from analysts to senior leadership
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) a plus
  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent.
