Job Title: Product Support EngineerLocation: Bohemia, NY Temp to Hire Job Summary: The Services Engineering organization is developing and executing strategic growth opportunities in the aftermarket for the Electrical Power business. This role as Product Support Engineer will be responsible for field product performance and repair aftermarket activities. The role is multi-faceted from collaborating cross-functionally on strategic projects to working hands-on to improve flow in the repairs department. Technical Responsiveness- Lead engineering projects to improve shop turn-around times and margin
- Resolve engineering issues related to repair activities
- Collaborate on lean events
- Perform engineering investigations for fielded units
- Develop repair/troubleshooting procedures and repair shop technical support for semi-conductors, diods, circuit board, assemblies, power supply
- Perform accurate documentation, technical reports, PowerPoint presentations, communicate closely with other departments
Instructions for Continued Airworthiness- Update / maintain technical content for in-service manuals
- Review field limits and repairs support
Proactive Product Performance- Analyze repair station leading indicators
- Develop product improvement recommendations
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problem
