Production Support EngineerOnsiteAbout the Job:Duration: Direct HireLocation: New York City, NY and Jacksonville, FLOverview: A leader in Technology services is seeking a Production Support Engineer in New York City, NY and Jacksonville, FL.Key responsibilities Candidate needs to have in depth knowledge and experience in the following key areas:Should have 10+ years of experience in production application support projectsIn depth experience in Operating System and database technologies including Unix, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Plus and Shell ScriptingExperience of using tools like Service Now, JIRAKnowledge of Informatica and Microservices will be an added advantageGood Knowledge of Investment Banking domain will be usefulExperienced in Incident, Problem, Change and Release ManagementIn-depth experience in ITSM, Project Management and ITIL CertifiedShould have played a SME role running day to day support in production application support projects in the last 4 yearsExperience in driving incident management for critical incidentsExcellent analytical and communication skillsTeam player with good interpersonal skillsPrimary duties and responsibilities for the Senior Analyst are as follows:Evaluate the progress of resolution of tickets in the shifts, keep track of key application processes/parameters and re-prioritize work loadProvide technical expertise to address application issuesIdentify and Design technical solutions for application issues which require workarounds without depending on L3 teamsImplement processes to improve TAT, reduce errors and mitigate escalationsHave in depth knowledge of application flows and guide the team to prioritize and address customer requirementsEnsure that all customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional mannerCreate and maintain relevant support material including KeDB by the team for supporting the applicationsReview all technical support related processes and documentation for continuous improvementLiaise with the customers in managing the requirements and addressing issues or queriesResponsible for coordinating and ensuring communication for critical issues in application supportLiaise with L3 teams to prioritize and address issues which are elevatedIdentify recurring issues and drive root cause resolution through problem managementFlexible in work hours to manage the demands of production supportAbout our CompanyDataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
