Production Technician

Production Technician for a local electronics firm proudly leading the industry in the development, manufacture, and marketing of instrumentation and imaging systems for the transportation industry.

We have an immediate need for a Production Technician.

Position summary:

Perform assembly, new production and repairs of IEM's Electronic Wheel Gauge

Assemble EWG subassemblies

Assist in the build of IEM systems - WISE, SIRIS, VMS, WFD, etc.

Provide Operational function support, e.g. Shipping/Receiving, inventory, etc.

Skills required/Preferred

Experience in hands on electromechanical assembly performing small mechanical assembly work

Reading schematics and mechanical drawings

Experience soldering fine surface mount circuit boards (PCB's)

Working knowledge using QC tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

Multitasking, switching between multiple assemblies.

Creating small to large wiring harnesses used in various products

MS Office experience
