Capital Area Peer Services, a peer run mental health organization, is hiring for a part-time Administrative Assistant at our 100 Clinton Avenue location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering and directing phone calls, completing agency wide paperwork and entering it into the computer, assisting the Program Director with various projects, clerical work and any duty requested by the Program Director.
Strong communication and computer skills required as well as knowledge of the mental health system. This is a part-time position working Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm.
We are also looking for a Program Director who will oversee a 9 bed residential program for men that meet the criteria for homelessness and mental illness. The candidate will supervise 2 staff and be responsible for all program documentation as well as have excellent working relationships with stakeholders and providers in the community. The residents need to be monitored daily to ensure they are taking care their living space, performing activities of daily living and following program rules. Some of the men require supervised medication. Strong written and oral communication skills required, as well as computer proficiency and experience in the mental health field. This is a full-time position.
A high school diploma or equivalency is required for both positions.
