We are looking for Program Governance Associate

Overview:

Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Crime Compliance ( "FCC), Program Governance, the FCC Program Governance Associate will support the department in the administration, coordination, and implementation of key FCC Compliance Program functions.

The role entails providing administrative and technical support for the FCC Program Governance team across client Americas Division (AD) entities, such as budget management, staffing management, third party vendor management, and FCC governance forum coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of the annual budgeting process for the FCC across the client's AD. Activities include coordinating inputs across all FCC functions, estimating budgetary needs for the following fiscal year based on major projects and temporary staffing needs, and tracking the progress against the annual budget on a monthly basis.
  • Budgets are presented to the BSA Officer, Head of FCC for AD, AD CCO, and Head Office departments as needed.
  • Manage communications with third party service providers for FCC, including contracts and purchase order setup.
  • Ensure invoices are submitted on a timely and accurate basis and support account/invoice reconciliations for internal or external stakeholders as needed.
  • Lead the annual staffing needs assessment process. This will include assisting with the data collection, data evaluation, and summarizing the results into an executive level report for internal socialization and approval. This role will also need to act as a challenge function to ensure accurate inputs by FCC data providers. The staffing needs assessment requires strong Excel skills and strong working knowledge of FCC topics.
  • Staffing needs results are presented to the BSA Officer, Head of FCC for AD, AD CCO, and Head Office departments, as needed.
  • Order equipment for FCC staff and FCC third party service providers, as needed.
  • Manage the schedule, agenda, and materials for FCC Governance forums for client's NY Branch. This requires strong organizational and PowerPoint skills.
  • This role may also be required to assist with other FCC program governance activities in order to build FCC subject matter knowledge, such as the coordination and tracking of regulatory examinations and internal audits, creation and editing of FCC governance materials, issues management, meeting minutes, and policies and procedures management.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of working experience in financial reporting, business analysis, and/or project management.
  • Working knowledge of financial services industry (finance, banking, accounting, and business management, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of support and business partners.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (with the ability to work with complex formulas and management of large amounts of data) and PowerPoint skills is required.
  • Ability to resolve conflicting requests and meet changing requirements while managing multiple priorities independently and/or in team environment.
  • Highly skilled at communicating complex processes to senior leadership and strong presentation skills.
  • Project management and or process improvement experience preferred.
  • Experience with, and knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC regulations.
