Progress OpenEdge/4GL

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Defining architecture and solution design of technical use cases
• Technical leadership of a software engineering team/pod (consisting of developers, testers and documentation) ensuing high quality, functionally excellent products
• Translate customer requirements, and new industry standards into software design and execution activities
• Drive learning and development of skills required for development of distributed, highly available and scalable architecture
• Should able to manage the team and work closely with customer in planning and end to end delivery

• Strong leadership and technical skills
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Progress OpenEdge
• Strong Knowledge of OOPs concepts
• Strong hands-on experience in creating REST services
• Client Server application experience
• Exposure to other multi-technology integration
• Experience in GIT
• Strong Knowledge to Agile frameworks (scrum/kanban)
• Good communication skills and should work closely with customer
• Should provide the solution to customer along with people management

• Progress 4GL, GUI, REST, OEPAS, OOABL, WebServices

• OpenSource UI technologies
