Roles and Responsibilities:
- Defining architecture and solution design of technical use cases
- Technical leadership of a software engineering team/pod (consisting of developers, testers and documentation) ensuing high quality, functionally excellent products
- Translate customer requirements, and new industry standards into software design and execution activities
- Drive learning and development of skills required for development of distributed, highly available and scalable architecture
- Should able to manage the team and work closely with customer in planning and end to end delivery
- Strong leadership and technical skills
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Progress OpenEdge
- Strong Knowledge of OOPs concepts
- Strong hands-on experience in creating REST services
- Client Server application experience
- Exposure to other multi-technology integration
- Experience in GIT
- Strong Knowledge to Agile frameworks (scrum/kanban)
- Good communication skills and should work closely with customer
- Should provide the solution to customer along with people management
- Progress 4GL, GUI, REST, OEPAS, OOABL, WebServices
