Job Title: Project ArchitectJob DescriptionThis promising opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to develop new skills and advance their career in architectural drafting. The role involves operating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems to create technical drawings for building construction, creating and modifying REVIT & AutoCAD models for design projects, and documenting existing conditions at job sites. The candidate must be able to work closely and communicate with architecture and engineering staff, consultants, sales representatives and clients.Responsibilities:
Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system to create technical drawings for building construction
Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD Architecture and/or Revit, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Create and modify REVIT & AutoCAD models for design projects
Visit buildings and job sites to document (hand sketch) existing conditions
Prepare accurate and complete drawings using AutoCAD and/or REVIT from sketches or notes after visiting job sites
Print out construction drawings for review, markup and distribution
Qualification Requirements:
Proficient in REVIT & AutoCAD
4+ years’ experience using REVIT
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BArch), Drafting Technology or related field
