Job DescriptionThe Project Manager provides support to the Project Management team and is directly responsible for the delivery of projects of low to medium complexity. This includes defining project scope, roadmaps/timelines, implementation and communication plans, budgets, risk analyses, etc. And collaborating with project resources at all levels to resolve issues and manage risks. This position exists to project manage cross-functional teams by working closely with all aspects of the product development community: Product Manager, Engineering, Infrastructure, Testing, Data Operations, Legal, etc.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Depending on scope and complexity, manage all phases of multiple simple to moderate projects a year
  • Collaborate with management to scope, plan, execute, and communicate the project assigned, including defining the goals, objectives, risks, schedule, roadmap updates and resource allocation for the project
  • Manage project delivery within pre-defined delivery goals balancing time, quality and resources
  • Lead project teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively execute, and or troubleshoot/diagnose project issues
  • Schedule and facilitate project review meetings for the purpose of updating status
  • Escalate complex issues and decisions to senior-level PMO colleagues
  • Monitor project resource demand and resources available
  • Negotiate with engineering resource managers for project resources
  • Effectively communicate project status – including schedule variances and mitigation options
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures
  • Define key performance parameters and create regular variance reports to track progress
  • Perform data analysis relevant to project tasks
  • Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project schedule
  • Maintain compliance with corporate and public regulations

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management
  • PMI Certifications - required or equivalent certification

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
  • Propose recommendations to streamline processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong execution of solutions to meet client and NPD needs.
  • Work in multi-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and execute on data-driven product objectives.
  • Identify and resolve day-to-day issues to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Network with colleagues to share knowledge and gain new perspectives.

Technical Skills:
  • Agile knowledge desired
  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience using Project Management tools, MS365, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
