Project Manager for a

CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier

Financial Services clients in

New York, NY.

Responsibilities :
  • Work closely with the Product development and technology team to assist in:
    • The coordination of the Cash PB platform stabilization
    • Defining optimal governance to manage the Prime Brokerage Platform in the Americas
  • Assist in structuring projects, create and maintain governance syndicated by all parties.
  • Drive the delivery effort by maintaining project lists, organizing follow up meetings, creating and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Ensure clear communication of goals, risks, efforts involved, as well as on the progress of the remediation initiative and upcoming project
  • Work closely with all functions - Front office, Operations, Finance, IT, Compliance, Legal, Risk etc. to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
  • Use Business analyst skills and product/business knowledge to assist in the end to end resolution of platform issues

Required

Skills:
  • 7-10 years of professional experience (in a project capacity and or product development capacity), with experience and knowledge of Global Market activities including trade processing flows and settlement processes specifically in Cash equities and Listed Options
  • Expertise in Prime Brokerage business including but not limited to:
    • Full life cycle of cash equity (Execution, trade capture, settlement)
    • Trade flows from Front to Finance
    • Client reporting
    • Client Wires / Payments
    • Reconciliations
    • Risk Management
  • Strong experience in project management and business analysis is essential (business requirements, process flows, procedures, GAP analysis).
  • Excellent level of knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The candidate:
    • Needs to demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn new processes quickly.
    • Need to show ability to multi-task and shift gears for various topics and perimeter during the project life cycle (i.e. Knowledge of FO Products and processes, Operations, IT, Finance etc.).
    • Must have a good understanding of the project life cycle and what each phase implies.
    • Business Analyst experience is critical for this role.
    • Experience in project management with abilities to work with SMEs.
    • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to delve into complicated situations (issues, people, processes etc.), sort out the information and propose the solution/next steps.
    • Must be able to professionally and efficiently manage situations of conflict and work with collaborators to arrive at a solution.
    • Must be comfortable communicating with senior audience and adapt communication based on target audience
