Here are the details: Albany, NY (Hybrid work schedule) Project Manager Duration: 12 Months with possible extension Job Duties- Independently create and maintain project documentation (including scope, tasks, and objectives) with minimal guidance when provided the necessary information (e.g., goals).
- Assist project teams with estimating necessary resources and timelines to reach project objectives.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Maintain project management tools to ensure that progress is tracked and that risks, issues, and decisions are accurately recorded and escalated (when necessary).
- Provide consistent, regular project updates to various stakeholders regarding project progress.
- Use industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project planning, execution, and closeout.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Document internal and external project processes and policies to support team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Public Health, Business or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant project management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project and other Office 365 collaboration tools.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with diverse stakeholder groups through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communications.
- Demonstrated success with facilitating meetings.
- Experience with Medicaid data or Medicaid Information Technology project is strongly preferred.
