Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a client located in Syracuse, NY. Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline is required. Will provide ongoing organizational and tactical support for a project. Coordinates all aspects of project, and engages appropriate peers/functions for follow-up, corrective action and/or solutions.

Pay/Salary Range: $50hr-$60hr

Project Manager job responsibilities include:
  • Analyzes and interprets data from multiple sources to ensure timely and thorough execution of project deliverables.
  • Assists in preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, logs issue, maintains project plan and schedule.
  • Arranges and facilitates meetings among full project team, sub-team(s), or others as required.
  • Monitors day-to-day status of project tasks and informs project manager and others as appropriate of risks to timeline, budget or issues/concerns.
  • Provides general administrative and tactical support to team and team members as required.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Experience working with suppliers
    • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required
  • Minimum Five years' experience Required
  • Must have experience with releasing products, lab testing, and working directly with customers/suppliers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project software is required
  • Experience coordinating team meetings is required
