Our client, NY State Agency is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Clean Transportation supporting School Bus Electrification Program.Job Title: Project Manager Clean TransportationLocation: NYS / NYC (Requires 10% travel to Albany / Manhattan office may be required)2 Years ContractWhat’s the Job?Supporting school districts and school bus contractors in completing school bus Fleet Electrification Plans (FEPs) and using Bond Act NY School Bus Incentive Program (NYSBIP) funds to purchase Electric School Buses (ESBs) and chargers.

Assist with Fleet Electrification Planning (FEP) program. Review FEP applications, scope documents, and deliverables.

Attend kickoff, scoping, and coordination meetings between school districts/fleets and FEP consultants.

Assist with NY School Bus Incentive Program (NYSBIP) program. Coordinate with school districts and school bus contractors as they consider and submit applications.

Coordinate with NYSBIP support contractor managing applications, track applications.

What’s Needed?

3-6 years of relevant experience. Strong project management skills to be able to work on many projects at the same time.

Ability to initiate, track, and manage multiple consultant contracts.

Ability to work collaboratively with internal team members to support a wide range of initiatives.

Understanding of clean transportation, shared mobility, transit, and/or electric mobility - preferred .

Experience in contract management - preferred

Experience with Salesforce - preferred.

Background knowledge of clean transportation deployments, utilities, or energy systems helpful but not required
