Location: Binghamton, NY Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager / Lead Engineer to manage process improvement initiatives, as assigned, in support of Networks to promote continuous improvement. Assist in leading and contribute to cross functional teams engaged in problem-solving and/or process development. Executes and/or supports data analytics and KPI development.
This job will have the following responsibilities:- Position reports to the Sr. Manager of Process Enhancement, Technology & Development, working day-to-day in cross functional teams in support of Operational Excellence initiatives in service to the Networks Operating Companies.
- Develop, manage, track and report process improvement initiatives, as assigned.
- Develop and deploy key process improvement indices.
- Develop and deploy process data collection methods and mechanisms.
- Field observation and evaluation process investigations.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- 2-5 years minimum applicable experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to decipher unique technical and analytical problems.
- Process mapping and analysis.

- General contract, commercial and regulatory awareness with the ability to balance effective and efficient stakeholder service and project delivery, ensuring maximum return on investment.

- Where appropriate, technical and operational experience in a relevant engineering role within a utility environment.
