Description We are extending an opportunity for a Purchasing Analyst role in our organization located in New York, New York. This role is central to our procurement process and involves close collaboration with our Accounts Payable Teams and Executive Admin Officer. The position provides a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Analyze purchasing activities data to enhance efficiency within the procurement process Collaborate daily with the Executive Admin Officer and Accounts Payable Teams Review and analyze vendor bids and contracts to ensure optimal terms for the organization Keep track of purchase orders and goods receipt to maintain accurate records Evaluate inventory, goods, and services procured for cost-effectiveness and quality Use Aestiva and MS Excel for data analysis and record maintenance Apply an analytical mindset to assess cost of goods sold (COGS) and supply chain strategy Implement 3-way matching in the procurement process Utilize procurement background knowledge for purchasing activities Stay abreast with technological advancements and leverage them for procurement activities. Requirements Demonstrated experience in Procurement and Purchasing Activities Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Understanding of Supply chain strategy and its implementation Knowledge of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and its impact on business operations Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process in accounts payable Strong analytical skills for business operations and financial analysis Proven experience in Data Analysis using various tools and methods Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
