Position: Senior Automation QA

Location: New York- Hybrid role- 2 days onsite(need local people)SkillsFinancial Services Technology Exp a Must

JAVA + API Testing + Selenium + SQL must have skills

Required Skills:

10+ years
of experience in QA/Software Testing within Financial Services Technology preferably in a multitier service oriented and bigdata ecosystem
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Should have proven track record of communicating complex multi-faceted issues to multiple stakeholders
Proven experience owning the QA testing strategy for an application
Understanding of different testing types – regression testing, ad hoc testing, integration testing, performance testing, etc.
Strong automation skills in automating backend testing such as api/messaging/data quality checks– preferably JAVA
Web/UI testing using various testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, playwright etc.
Must be strong in SQL and database technologies
Must have hands on experience in Data Analysis of breaks/inconsistencies in large data sets
Be able to query & quickly compare large datasets
Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Must have prior experience working with applications on Windows and Unix platforms
Must have strong understanding of CI/CD best practices to run automated test executions pipelines.
Experience working with applications running on AWS
A working knowledge of Kafka would be desirable.
