As a Healthcare Quality Assurance Tester, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape. Your day-to-day role will include providing testing services related to ANSI X12 EDI and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) transaction and response files for major system implementation projects.Key Responsibilities
- Interpret requirements and technical design documents to develop, enhance, and validate structured query language (SQL) tests.
- Review and evaluate vendor executed test case results and assist with identification of operational issues, risk assessment and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated experience in software implementation projects involving X12 healthcare and/or NCPDP transactions.
- Experience with software quality management including:
- Eliciting and documenting business requirements.
- Testing and QA oversight.
- Managing development schedules.
- Anticipating and communicating issues/risks.
- Developing key technical documentation.
- Task delegation and oversight.
- System design and client/vendor management.
- Ability to understand, create, and execute structured query language (SQL) scripts.
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and understand their needs through active facilitation and listening.
- Strong writing, organizational, communication, and analytical skills to meet project goals.
- Experience in supervising software testing programs (including relevant certifications).
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of related experience in software implementation projects involving X12 healthcare and/or NCPDP transactions is required. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
