Job DescriptionAs a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst working in our Operations scrum team, you will test a wide range of internal and external web applications used by various operational departments. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing business requirements and creating test cases to cover functionality, while executing both manual & automated functional test cases to validate business requirements and system stability. You will also be expected to report results of test execution, record defects and track their progress through closure. The candidate should have experience using tools such as Jira and TestRail. Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium and/or Ranorex is advantageous but not required. This will include leveraging our extensive global proprietary applications and work closely with leading developers, architects, and product management within the fixed income fintech space.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, direct and work collaboratively with on and offshore QA resources
  • Review business requirements
  • Develop and execute manual and automated functional test cases to validate business requirements and system stability
  • Provide testing estimates
  • Report results of test execution
  • Report defects and track their progress
  • Create new scripts and maintain existing scripts to support testing as needed
  • Generate test metrics for both manual and automated tests

What You Bring to the Table
  • 2+ years software QA experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with a hybrid onshore-offshore team
  • Basic UNIX shell scripting, SQL
  • Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Ranorex
  • Programming experience with Java, Visual Basic Scripting, C#, Selenium
  • FIX messaging protocol and testing tools a plus
  • Fixed Income market data and/or trading
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
