Description Our Client, located in Albany, NY, is in the process of recruiting a Quality Assurance Analyst. This role is pivotal in their IT department, focusing on providing end-to-end testing plans, executing these plans, and managing all related activities to ensure objectives are met. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, where you will work collaboratively with both the IT department and business units. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases in collaboration with the IT department and business units Execute and manage end-to-end test plans to ensure all objectives are met Conduct regression testing as required to ensure system functionality Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics for continuous improvement Ensure the solution is tested for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other internal or external systems Utilize SQL and scripting knowledge for effective testing processes Apply hands-on experience with regression and acceptance testing to ensure optimal system performance Leverage automated testing tools to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating systems for effective system testing Apply strong interpersonal and communication skills to resolve internal inquiries and provide support.Requirements Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Windows, GitHub, JIRA, and Linux Technologies Experience with software development, specifically with creating and executing test plans and test cases Strong knowledge of security protocols for workstation support Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and regression analysis Ability to conduct end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Experience using Microsoft Teams for team collaboration Ability to perform metric reporting and policy review Adept at planning and training for various business units Experience with software development methodologies A Plus certification is preferred but not required.
