Is responsible for providing customer service internal and external to Mayo Clinic, including physicians, allied health staff and medical center personnel. Performs work activities related to Radiology Data Management and Archive area, including film management, electronic image media creation, film digitization, electronic image transfer, quality assurance and corrections. Is responsible for taking positive action in problem solving and working with various computer systems. Requires positive communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service, demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment, flexibility and the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Understands and adapts to changes in procedures easily and supportively. Rotates through areas on a scheduled basis. Ability to problem-solve, organize and process information with speed and accuracy. Maintains excellent attendance.QualificationsA high school diploma or GED is required.Additional qualificationsCollege course work preferred. Anatomy and medical terminology class and telephone etiquette are required (may be acquired during the first six months of employment). Knowledgeable in various computer systems and applications. Good clerical aptitude and computer skills with accurate keyboarding. Knowledge of anatomy. Knowledge in Microsoft Office products required. Two holiday shifts per year.Weekend Schedule :Radiology Data Management team is on a rotational weekend shift, providing coverage from 6AM -2PM and 2PM-10PM.
