Job Summary:
The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies Solutions involves providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract specifications.Duties & Responsibilities:Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentationPerform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific testing requirementsAssist in providing service activities including parts refurbishment, maintenance, calibration of equipment, inspection, repair, performance testing, customer communications, project assessment and execution, and telephone customer supportProvide extensive equipment support and general hardware and software supportMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsCreate and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performedConsult with customer management and operation teamsEnsure contract compliance with volume and quality specificationsCollect payment information and generate shipping and billing paperworkEnsure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job, including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle (if applicable), and comply with all Veolia Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policiesOther duties as assignedThe job description is not designed to capture all the employee’s responsibilities but is intended to capture essential functions of the role.
