EFS provides its clients with the ability to rapidly package, deploy, and run applications at scale in data centers around the globe.This role will be responsible for working with cloud services engineering and operations teams as well as subject matter experts and vendors to develop and deliver distributed file system solutions. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements. This role codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. The candidate will be expected to become familiar with development and testing practices of the bank as well as understand and adhere to all security policies from development through deployment.Required Skills:Technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for all business environmentsExperience in developing large-scale, back-end applicationsAbility to understand, develop, and maintain complex server softwareSkill in development with scripting languages and tools including Perl, Python, Bash, and GitSkillExperience with Agile development processes and tools, such as Jira and ConfluenceExperience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices and tools, such as Jenkins and AnsibleExcellent problem solving & troubleshooting skillsUtilizing multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirementsExperience creating technical documentation and training materialsExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audiences across the organizationAbility to work collaboratively with a geographically dispersed teamDesired Skills:Extensive Red Hat Linux experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of NFSDemonstrated ability to create and maintain Ansible automation, including jobs, roles, and inventoriesExperience with NetApp Network Attached Storage devicesDevOps experience with Perl / PythonExperience analyzing and reporting on operational data with Oracle SQL and Splunk
