Our data-analytics solutions encompass established areas like data management & location intelligence, as well as emerging areas like data science, artificial intelligence / machine learning, and data strategy. GHD Digital is hiring a Commercial leader for our Digital Intelligence (Data Insight & Analytics) business to identify growth opportunities in the area through new customer acquisition and introducing data-analytics to GHD's traditional customers. This role reports to the Practice Director of Digital Intelligence (NA) and is open to anyone near a GHD Hub office in USA or Canada. The role will:- Be accountable for Digital Intelligence Sales working collaboratively with DI leads and Digital / Technical market development leads
- Drive commercialization of data-insight-analytics solutions created by the Digital Intelligence team.
- Carry a Sales quota with a significant portion of new Sales
- Identify market and competitive trends in the data analytics business in GHD sectors
- Build relationships with new and existing customers with a goal to identifying new opportunities - especially with C-suite customers.
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing team to develop BD materials that reflect the unique offerings and group skill set.
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision makers, lead / facilitate the logistics of approaching a prospect / customer.
- Bring customer insight back to GHD and assist or influence Digital Intelligence leads to build market relevant solutions.
- Attend events & travel to customer sites to build relationships and identify opportunities
- Take a lead role in responding to RFPs / development of proposals
- Support deal structure and negotiate pricing
- Highly skilled at Sales and Business Development
- Proven track record of contributing to growth of a data insight and analytics business
- 15+ years of experience in direct external sales of data insight and analytics in one or more of GHD sectors
- Masters degree in engineering or any of the sciences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience.
