I am Eric Jones, a recruiter representing Eclaro, a staffing firm. Our client located in White Plains, NY is seeking a SAP Ariba Sourcing Functional Consultant. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The position is a hybrid, requiring 2 days of onsite work and 3 days of remote work per week.The role involves providing functional technology support in SSM, specifically for SAP ERP and SAP Ariba sourcing. This includes addressing and resolving any issues related to procurement and materials management activities, as well as troubleshooting SAP system issues. Additionally, the consultant will be required to work on testing system changes and provide support for tasks related to the Next Gen ERP project.The job responsibilities include providing SAP ERP and SAP Ariba sourcing support for procurement and materials management activities, maintaining and enhancing SAP MM modules related to procurement, warehousing, and inventory transactions, providing training to SAP procurement users, analyzing and solving procurement system issues, implementing additional functionality to SAP MM modules, collecting and analyzing procurement data, preparing management reports using SAP data, conducting classroom training for various user groups, and maintaining end user procedures and training/user guides for SAP MM related functionality.The desired skills for this role include functional knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) module configuration, tables, transports, transaction codes, SAP Query, and Reports. Knowledge of SAP Ariba SIPM, e-Sourcing, Contract Management, Catalog, and Risk modules is a plus. Additionally, strong knowledge of procurement processes and excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills are required.Candidates should have a technical, vocational, college or similar degree.
