SAP Functional Analyst

Job Title

• Gather, analyze, and evaluate ideas from the business to improve or develop new functionality within the PP application.
• Direct external partners, offshore analysts, and developers in the execution of designed changes to SAP.
• Document and maintain the business processes using SAP best practices.
• Coordinate and participate in system integration, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Work with the business to resolve defects, then define and communicate the proposed solution.
• Manage the move of approved application changes thru the system landscape.
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting to the business community.
• Assist with SAP training as new PP functionality is implemented, or new locations are brought live
• Ensure all project, change, and issue management processes are followed.
• Lead projects of varying size and scope as required, within the designated timeline.
• Mentors team members and business users in the use, capability, and configuration of the PP module.
• Functions as a change agent to improve business processes related to the PP module.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Production Planning Functional Analyst.
• Minimum of 4+ years of Functional Analyst experience preferred.
• Knowledge in QM, PM, IBP, or another SAP Module is a plus
• Has the ability to independently drive the development of solutions for complex production planning challenges. This is demonstrated through a large portfolio of completed tasks, system designs, and projects that show:
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PP processes and configuration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the master data requirements for the PP functions and how processes are affected by master data.
• Ability to perform and understand complex integration of the PP module with related SAP modules.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the processes of all related SAP modules and how they interact with the PP module.
• Must possess excellent organizational and project management abilities, along with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Process-oriented and independent thinker with initiative.
• Consistent demonstration of a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to work independently and know and understand the business requirements, given only general direction.
