Seeking Educational Director/ Program Manager

Large center-based daycare in The Bronx seeking a talented and dynamic individual to run the program. We service children 6 weeks to 5 years old with PRE K 3 and Pre K 4 contracted programs .Our staff is small but close knit. Seeking a leader to perform the duties listed below and any other that will help the program run effectively:

-Manage staff (hiring , training and scheduling )

-Registering students (open houses, meet and greet, files, registration)

-Keeping building in compliance (perimeter checks, visual checks, walk throughs, scheduling maintenance)

-Meeting and collaborating with agencies (doh, doe, dept of buildings)

-Keeping violations down

-Family engagement and involvement

-Collecting tuition and fees

-Overseeing lesson plans and assessments

-maintaining overall cleanliness and safety of building, staff and children

The IDEAL candidate MUST possess:

-MS in Early childhood Education

-NYS B-2nd Teaching license

-3 References

-SCR background clearance

-DOE and DOI fingerprint

-15 hours training
