Position: Fitness Center Cleaner

Experience Level: Entry to Mid-level

Schedule: Rotating, Wednesday to Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (with some overtime availability as needed)

A high-traffic fitness facility is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wellness Cleaner to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for gym members and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, thorough, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness throughout the fitness center, including workout areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and common spaces

Sanitize equipment, weights, machines, mats, and high-touch surfaces regularly

Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure all areas remain neat and organized

Perform floor cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

Restock supplies including paper towels, soap, and sanitation stations

Report any maintenance, safety concerns, or equipment issues to management

Assist with light cleaning and organization in office or storage areas as needed

Follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or fitness/gym maintenance is a PLUS

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Good communication skills and a friendly attitude with staff and members
