Senior Application Security Engineer

Our client, the investment management division of an extremely prestigious international firm, is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to use his/her skills in application development and security to set and implement coding standards for the firm from a security standpoint. You will be responsible for researching, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities and playing a lead role in developing a secure SDLC for application source code and IaC. Duties will include defining metrics on application policies and processes, automating application security testing and perform code deep dives to identify security vulnerabilities or flaws. Candidates must be college graduates with 6-12 years of experience including a strong combination of skills in coding (ideally Python, Java, and/or C) and security (ie AppSecOps, DevSecOps), cloud orchestration, infrastructure automation and continuous delivery. Experience with AWS would be a major plus.
