Role Description:

As a full-time, on-site Buffer at Hipshot Products, Inc., you will perform finishing operations on guitar and bass hardware components. This includes deburring, burnishing, and polishing metal surfaces to ensure high quality and smooth functionality. Your role demands consistent attention to detail and repeated precision over large production runs to meet our high standards of excellence. You will be active in sanding and polishing workpieces made from brass, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, operating vibratory tumblers, belt sanders, and disc buffers.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Sanding, tumbling, and polishing objects.

- Correcting defects and removing imperfections left from machine operations.

- Preparing surfaces for further finishing and electroplating.

- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work tables.

- Recording work completed.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 Years experience with buffing lathes, belt sanders, vibratory tumblers, and similar equipment.

- Prior experience in metalworking, metal finishing, or similar roles.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Physical dexterity and ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks.

- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

- Basic understanding of guitar and bass hardware is a plus.
