Senior Business Analyst

A global financial firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong knowledge of equities trading business to assist with the full project life cycle of cash equities trading systems development. They will gather, refine and analyze business requirements, creating business process analysis artifacts including use cases, activity and sequence diagrams, and vision scope documents, coordinating with development and QA teams, managing the timelines and providing status reports to senior technology management.

• Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience in the financial services domain Experience with full software development project life cycle, from gathering requirements, writing technical specifications, uses and test cases, project reports, etc.,
• In depth knowledge of US equities trading including product types, order/trade lifecycle, internal and external order flow, compliance and regulatory concerns
• Agile experience in creating stories for development and defining acceptance criteria
• Experience working with FIX Protocol
• Strong interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
• Degree in finance, computer science or related field
