Senior Data Analyst-Property & Casualty Insurance

Possible Contract-to-Hire. Hybrid work/schedule.

• 3-6 years of Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance background required, including some experience working with P&C actuaries.

• Experience with SQL/ETL applications involving Reserving systems and/or Financial Reporting in P&C Insurance Industry is highly preferred.

• Some P&C actuarial science knowledge (e.g. Pricing, Reserving), is strongly preferred.

• Advanced skills in SQL with the ability to interpret and debug complex SQL queries along with performance tuning. MS SQL Server experience.

• Proficiency in
  Microsoft Excel is required.

• Working within the Technical Reserving team to manage and compile the data sets used in the reserving process.

• Produce a range of core and ad hoc reports to support the quarterly reserving process.

• Working with Finance to reconcile the data used in the quarterly reserve analysis and the results of the quarterly reserving analysis.

• Self-starter, detail oriented, quick learner, deadline driven and able to work relatively independently with direction.
• Exceptional problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communicator.
