RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Data Architect in New York City, New York (NY).

Summary:The Senior Data Architect is primarily responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of data models to support the needs of data warehouses and data marts. The position is responsible for recommending and adopting best practices to ensure high data quality standards, repeatability and scalability of data models are designed, and maintained and data redundancy is reduced.

Responsibilities include: Senior Data Architect will identify and define system errors and/or deficiencies Liaise with other developers (i.e.: software, application, web, etc.) to determine best path solutions and manage the priorities through collaboration with internal stakeholders Plan and coordinate testing and implementation of system patches and upgrades leading a cross functional team of power users Create written user documentation, instructions, and procedures for the purpose of training new employees and improving over-all user proficiency Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation including development of business justification and project implementation planning, when appropriate Senior Data Architect is utilizing in-house or external resources, manage the network and related hardware Understand and translate business needs into data models to satisfy enterprise analytics and reporting needs Senior Data Architect will work with the EIM team to design and implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects Develop and understand all features of each a module and their impact on other modules Analyze and develop understanding of how data flows through the system and apply that knowledge to the current business model

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study 10+ years of work experience in design and implementation of data models for complex data warehouse initiatives 10+ years of experience in designing scalable enterprise data models 5+ years of experience working with healthcare data and revenue cycle data models Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint) SQL, BI Tools, EDW (Snowflake), Data Modeling Tool Proficiency with some leading data profiling tools (such as SQL, BI tools, etc.) Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives including Data Model development, Semantic/Data Access Layer Development, Reporting and Dashboard Creation; Developing solutions for shared data usage Experience with a Data Modeling tools (such as Erwin) and in developing processes to manage data model development, principles, and standards Experience with PC and/or OS operating systems Exposure to and understanding of Analytical Architectures Strong analytical, problem solving, and work management skills Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization Proactive Leadership style; Self-starter and strong attention to detail Experience with a Clinical industry focused data model preferred
