Candidate must be a Duties: Environment maintenance and automation, deployment strategy and architecture, knowledge on different technical languages specific to deployment
You'll work in small teams (incl. product and managers, developers and operations people) in a highly collaborative way, use the latest technologies and enjoy seeing the direct impact from your work. You'll combine 'Agile' with expertise in cloud, big data and mobile to create and maintain custom solutions that help clients increase productivity and make timely decision. This will include but is not limited to:- Development and implementation of IT systems and processes supporting SaaS applications
- Automation of provisioning, quality controls, security auditing and maintenance
- Reporting and follow-up on server metrics
- Optimization of resources
- Continuous improvement of efficiency of operational activities
- Deep expertise troubleshooting complex distributed systems
- Understanding of Linux container principles and best practices
- Ability to listen, communicate, evaluate, problem solve, multi-task, and prioritize in a high-pressure, mission-critical, and rewarding team environment.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Ansible, CloudFormation.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Automation Engineer with strong Linux experience and having responsibilities of Site Reliability Engineer
- Solid understanding of automation principles and programming experience using frameworks such as Python and Go
- Experience working with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tooling similar to Circle CI, Jenkins, Git
- Strong understanding of Security, Logging, Monitoring and Performance aspects of cloud-native platform and application architectures
- Proven track record delivering high quality and consistent systems and environments for development team
- Able to see gaps and areas of improvement in process as well as technologies, providing recommendations and taking the initiative to fix issues are qualities we love to see in our teams
- Are deeply experienced in the UNIX/Linux world
- Experience working with large databases running on MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Have experience with Docker containers and micro-services
- Understand the full web stack, networking, and low level Unix computing
