This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a business development professional with strong understanding of marketing research/analytics within the online & TV advertising media industries. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of maximizing Comscore's relationships with key MVPD partners and clients. The qualified professional will have an innate ability to forge and nurture senior strategic relationships across our client and prospect organizations. The role will encompass a broad range of functions including but not limited to strategy, sales, relationship development, data and analytic utilization, market research and development, ad technical/ business process improvements. The Senior Director develops the strategy and associated tactics for identifying and personally closing new and recurring business sales opportunities for a select set of enterprise clients.What you'll do:

• The Senior Director will support the company's goals through a range of sales and account management activities. • Forge strong client relationships with key decision makers to solidify Comscore as a true consultative partner for business and marketing insights.• Develop account strategies to grow business within our MVPD clients, with a particular focus in online/ television & OTT advertising, addressable advertising, marketing research, and programming.• As your clients day-to-day contact, develop a strong understanding of the clients business and demonstrate how Comscore's cross platform solutions can assist them to achieve their business goals. Prepare written documentation as required including client presentations, trainings, and contracts.• Identify, track and manage key performance and operational metrics for MVPD based solutions that help guide Comscore teams for optimal service level performance. • Ensure project quality and delivery, working with Comscore's product management and other internal teams (client insights, client success, and custom analytics).• Become an expert in the Comscore cross-platform products, advertising solutions, and understanding not just the methodologies, but also the applications of the products to specific client / operator use cases.

• Negotiate and understand complex licensing agreements, and being able to articulate Comscore's business position to help close and finalize agreements.• Work with Comscore product, research, and data science teams to escalate and resolve issues related to products, research or reporting. Present the lens of MVPD clients. • Prioritize new solutions and align operator product roadmap expectations.• Work both autonomously and within a team setting.• Regularly update Salesforce with prospect, customer information, and submission of contracts thru Salesforce process.• Travel as needed to support the operators on-site needs across key locations (once external visitors are authorized on-site at client offices).• Internally travel to Comscore key offices to promote learning, collaboration, and camaraderie (once Comscore re-opens on-site access to key offices)• Attend key trade and industry events, as needed, to support Comscore and key operator clients.

What you'll need:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree and 8 years professional sales management experience.• A highly aggressive and analytical professional with a proven track record of success in achieving revenue plans, and cultivating client relationships to close new client sales.• Specific experience managing or selling audience measurement, advertising effectiveness measurement services and/or custom research solutions to MVPDs, media companies, advertisers and advertising agencies• Experience and established senior contacts and relationships within the media/advertising industry required• Understanding of market research (quantitative for TV and digital) and other related industry knowledge and how information can be applied to help clients achieve their goals• A high intellect individual who combines proven sales ability with analytical excellence, superior communication skills (presentation and written) and an ability to forge strong client relationships• Technical background and aptitude a plus in advanced advertising• Highly organized but flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements• Strong listening skills. Experienced with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and the ability to learn and utilize software sales tools specific to Comscore
