The candidate will be required to meet with project stake holders on a regular basis to understand technical issues and develop solutions. aria-hidden="true" Key Responsibilities aria-hidden="true" • Generate necessary/related documentation for product release aria-hidden="true" • Proficient in development of product test specifications (production environment) aria-hidden="true" • Develop embedded C/ C and Python source code on microcontrollers, including interfaces to external systems. aria-hidden="true" • Develop on tool chains including but not limited to GCC, Vitis, Vivado aria-hidden="true" • Experience developing on embedded Linux OS and FreeRTOS OS aria-hidden="true" • Using common debugging tools to troubleshoot embedded code and implement corrections aria-hidden="true" • Proficient in using version control systems (e.g. Git), and Atlassian tools aria-hidden="true" • Troubleshoot prototype and production units at electromechanical systems level aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Functional Knowledge aria-hidden="true" • 7+ years of experience with Engineering/Computer Engineering / Electronics / Electrical / Software / Instrumentation is desirable. aria-hidden="true" • 5+ years in embedded software engineering, preference with servo and stepper motor-drive experience aria-hidden="true" • Bachelor of Engineering degree aria-hidden="true" • Familiarity with RF principles and theories aria-hidden="true" • Expertise developing test procedures to verify hardware & firmware designs aria-hidden="true" • Experience in firmware design (embedded systems or motor driver development), board level design and bring-up aria-hidden="true" • Prior experience of working in global teams and interfacing with multiple stake holders. aria-hidden="true" • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact with extended teams spread across the globe. aria-hidden="true" • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
