Job summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven, and tech-interested Senior Financial Analyst to help support our growing IT, Digital Experience & Product (DX&P) and Customer Service teams within our Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) organization. This position will work closely with our global technology teams, focused on budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, reporting and analysis across opex and capex. This role reports into the Finance Director of GT&O. While this role is budgeting, forecasting, month-end and capital focused, it is essential that this person think both strategically and tactically, constantly looking for new ways to create efficiencies, anticipate bottlenecks, and draw linkages between the technology group and finance group to ensure investments are prioritized according to the company roadmap.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the month-end close process by interacting with stakeholders across IT, DX&P and Customer Service to build
  • accruals, identify reclasses, and ensure an accurate and timely close
  • Manage monthly P&L variance analysis for the corporate finance team and IT, DX&P and Customer Service
  • leadership
  • Lead the full year budget and forecast processfor capex and opex, including managing, iterating, and building
  • financial modeling that serve as inputs for IT, DX&P and Customer Service departments
  • Drive monthly meetings with technology teams to gain insight into financial and operational strategies, share P&L
  • variance analysis and update full year forecast as needed
  • Identify and manage potential P&L and capital risks and opportunities
  • Partner with project teams to manage CAPEX spend, identifying key business drivers for CAPEX and supporting
  • projects with financial and business-case modeling
  • Perform ad hoc analytics, deep dives, and special projects in support of GT&O

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in finance or accounting role
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Experience in media or entertainment industry preferred
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis experience
  • Quality verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ease when communicating with leadership to
  • make high level recommendations and influence decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables without rigorous oversight
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Prior experience with financial applications (Oracle EBS, Essbase or related)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to take on new challenges and responsibilities as they
  • arise
  • CPA or MBA a plus
