We are seeking a Front End Developer to work with Senior Java Developers and Business Analysts to design and develop its web applications.

Position: Senior Front-End Developer

Location: New York, NY

Status: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage new web-based applications as well as ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the existing applications
Participate in all aspects of the Agile software development lifecycle
Assist client support personnel in the remediation of production issues, defects, and bugs
Author and update functional requirements and technical design documentation
Validate test plans and scenarios

Requirements:· Solid front-end development experience using ExtJS· Good working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, JSPs, Ajax, HTML5, and CSS· 5+ years working as a professional UI developer· Fluency in Java and SQL is a plus· Knowledge of the Agile framework· Experience with J2EE Application Servers· College Degree is required· Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgment, high ethical standards, and a strong work ethic are a must· Strong analytical skills to solve problems· Willingness to learn the underlying business at a detailed and technical level· Financial services experience is helpful, but not required· Ability to work in a small company – big client setting
