Senior .NET Developer (hybrid)

Our Utility Client on the Upper East Side ,NYC is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to help rewrite their legacy code. This is a hybrid role 2/3 for 12+monthsAssignment DetailsJoin the team to rewrite the legacy code into .NET.SQL and database are a plus.Skills & RequirementsRelevant experience includes but is not limited to real-time support of critical systems, an understanding of programmings full life cycle and working in a regulated cyber environment and system engineering, management and support of critical application computer projects system and network administration, documentation of system performance and anomalies, and user training. Candidates should have a working knowledge of relational databases, Linux/Unix, Windows System Management, client/server technology and TCP/IP. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint software required.The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate.

• Knowledge of computer systems and working knowledge of Programming, relational databases, Linux/Unix, Windows Operating Systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact with personnel on all levels.
• Experience with the following is a plus: Microsoft Office suite, .NET, Visual Basic, VBScript, ASP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, PERL, Ingres and OpenRoad, Knowledge of cybersecurity, project management and working in a regulated cyber environment.
