Technology & Operations

Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

Network Operations is responsible for managing the global network and security infrastructure. The team performs multiple operational tasks, projects and engineering aspects in routing, load balancing, monitoring and optimizing the network. Network Operations Center (NOC) is the foundation of the Global Network Operations team which provides active monitoring and remediation of incidents, alerts and any infrastructure stability issues. The team is also responsible for automation to quickly identify and resolve issues.

As a Senior Network Operations Lead, you will:
  • Serve as an in-region point of escalation from the NOC team and will report into the regional Network Operations Center Manager
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and performing root cause analysis
  • Act as point of contact for incident management reporting and escalations
  • Maximize network performance and stability through ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and automation
  • Provide mentoring for the junior network operations engineers
  • Lead team transformation from traditional infrastructure management to cloud infrastructure management
  • Perform root cause analysis of the incidents and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with Service Assurance and Engineering team to identify and implement solutions to improve network stability
  • Perform proactive network capacity analysis and implement solutions before they become problems
  • Assist with the establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
  • Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
  • Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
  • Daily network checks and operational handover duties

What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with in-depth operations & troubleshooting expertise
  • Experience in leading a small team, ideally in an operations role is desirable
  • Detailed knowledge of network routing and switching technologies
  • In-depth experience of Cisco products including policy-based routing, traffic shaping, routing protocols, network address translation and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Experience with Checkpoint & Cisco firewalls
  • Experience in supporting and implementing connectivity with cloud service providers such as Azure or AWS
  • Formal technical certification such as CCIE or equivalent is preferred
