Senior Project Manager

Job Description:

• Is seeking a resource who will work with the rest of the ISG DDO team to review and assess prioritized data initiatives, review key front office processes and the associated control framework, identify any control gaps and work on defining remediation plans for these gaps.
• Assess prioritization of various data initiatives
• Develop SME knowledge around key data governance processes and controls
• Conduct control coverage assessment, identify any control gaps, and develop remediation plans
• Provide guidance & supervision to other team members regarding the execution of data projects
• Track progress of the initiatives against timelines, provide status report to Senior Management and highlight risks and dependencies to meeting planned deadlines.

• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of financial products / asset classes / risk measures
• Knowledge of the trade lifecycle & F2B data lineage/data flow experience
• Strong risk and control mindset
• Project Management - ability to scope, plan, and execute projects
• Ability to build & maintain credible relationships
• Experience in a similar Data Management role with focus on data definitions, Data authorities, data quality rules & dashboard, data quality controls preferred
• Background in an independent control function preferred
