Job Requisition ID: [[id]]Location Designation: [[custrolelocationdesignation]]Must be located within 50 miles of Manhattan, NY, Dallas, TX or Cleveland OHThe Senior Regulatory Services Associate is responsible for providing efficient, personalized service and operational support to internal and external customers in an expedient and accurate manner. Takes on additional responsibilities, including carrying out higher levels of research and more complex transaction processing. Works to achieve the goals of their team by working both independently and with other members of Reg60 to provide efficient and accurate service. Handles disclosure processing as well as assists with the processing of initial, drum and quality control procedural steps that pertain to the administration of selling a life insurance policy or annuity contract predicated upon certain changes to an existing policy or contract. Applies product and insurance knowledge rules and regulations to work on cases and assist with problems and questions within the Regulation 60 Team.Responsibilities:

Develop product illustrations, product calculators and policy briefs to provide customers with replacement modeling so that they can make educated decisions taking into account variables such as premiums, cash value, insurability, policy provisions, interest rates for loans, incontestable clauses and changes in benefits.

Case data documentation – review and create disclosure paperwork from illustrations, briefs and calculators to reflect both the replaced and proposed products values while meeting specified timeframes.

Ensure all relevant and necessary documentation is obtained pertaining to the source and accuracy of information, to assist with replacement actions.

Field agent inquiries and communicate regularly with the Field and management on the status of escalated cases. Act as resource for technical, product and regulatory information as it applies to Regulation 60 functions for all clients. Establish high quality customer relationships – using informational resources and own technical knowledge to respond to customer inquiries.

Utilize automated systems to enter and track information.

Meet Insurance Department timelines established with respect to procedural steps and disclosure activity actions.

Review and provide recommendations on cases to be approved and declined.

Assist in the execution and processing of routine administrative transactions – including the transition of faxed and mailed correspondence into the administrative system, processing initial and drum steps. Aid in processing cross-functional business in the External Replacement Unit to address shifting volumes.

Become proficient in processing routine transactions in policy issue review and quality control review steps

Ensure consistency in the handling of all Regulation 60 reviews by following the prescribed procedures and parameters. Assist in performing quality reviews of completed work.

Develop working knowledge of all NYL life and annuity products, in addition to the Reg60 process and procedures. Take charge of developing weaknesses and leveraging strengths through educational opportunities and diversity and inclusion activities.

Knowledge/ Skills:

College degree or equivalent work experience

High school Degree and/minimum two years experience preferred.

2-3 years working knowledge of insurance/investment industry preferred

Experienced with accomplishing multiple tasks and high volumes of work under strict time deadlines

Proficient data entry skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Good customer service and listening skills

Detail-oriented, organized

NASD Series 6 License preferred

Shift Information/ Onsite Requirments:This is a full-time position Monday through Friday.
